We have been busy here getting ready for the Montreal Bike show (SALON DU VÉLO). Come and see us at booth 520 and we will be showing off all the new products for 2012. This is going to be a big year for us. We have a bunch of stuff up our sleeves. We actually have a new 2012 catalogue that will be available online very soon and you can grab a print copy at the show.

Rick Kleinsmith from TrafikLA came out to Toronto over the Christmas break and stopped by the YNOT studio to chat and see our operation. Greater Toronto Area Fixed #1 & YNOT Commute

Here are two new videos that I (Tom) put together. The first is the beginning of a new series of edits that will feature many of our favourite local buddies from the Greater Toronto Area.

The second one is a little time-lapse I made out of a recording of my daily commute to YNOT. The little jibs and jumps fly by but you get the idea.

When you are in your local UK, European, South Korean and Hong Kong shops, ask them if they use Big Mama, Seoul Fixed Gear or Cavs distribution. If they do, great because they should be able to get you all the YNOT gear you are looking for. If they don’t make sure you get them to because they all carry wicked stuff. You can also contact the distributors directly to ask them what shops they support.

Our buddy Dew Sippawit from Thailand put out a nasty edit recently. Apparently he was injured and out of it for a bit but he seems to be back with vengeance! He’s been rocking YNOT straps for a while now and we’re stoked to have him repping our stuff! Check it out, he brings a fresh, fast approach to riding fixed!

Loaded Cobra

A friend we made at Interbike named Michael Daniel from Atlanta contacted us and ordered a custom coloured Cobra that he seems to be putting to great use. He passed along this shot of his Cobra using it’s wings to hug a massive 30lb bag of dog food to haul home. The Cobra will be going live on the website (finally!) after years of development and testing and design refinement. There seems to be a underground cult following for this bag so I can’t wait for more people to finally be able to get them in their hands. Keep checking back for the release to get one of your own too!
