YNOT Team Riders at Ride&Style by Prolly
Prolly Is Not Probably just uploaded a great photo set from the weekends Red Bull Ride&Style event. Several of our Team riders were there throwing down, going hard and representing YNOT.
Kenny Arimoto had a hard slam but since he’s smart he wore a helmet and it saved him, glad you’re okay buddy!
Here are some great shots of some of our guys:

Pedal Consumption: This is (Y)NOT Another Fish in the Sea
Here is a review by Patrick @Pedalconsumption of a 2011 Large Gulper we sent him a few months back. The new 2012 are about to hit the web.
“When the boys of YNOT sent me The Gulper backpack, I was overwhelmed with joy… especially after seeing this beauty in action @ Interbike 2011. The Gulper is not your run-of-the-mill backpack! It’s original, functional, and bombproof.
What caught my attention when I first saw The Gulper was its size. Not too wide, not too short… just proportionally on point! I usually get annoyed when a backpack has way too many steps in compressing its shape and size, but not this good ol’ boy! As Tom Mosher was demonstrating this wonder backpack, I was really intrigued with the single front strap and how easy it was to adjust the shape and size of the backpack. Kudos for that!
The 1000D Cordura exterior shell features a front pocket w/two divided compartments, two side pockets w/compression straps, well-padded shoulder straps, sternum strap, back padding, and reflective accents. One feature I wanted to point out is the use of eyelets at the base of the side pockets. This is an important feature… especially if you live in a very wet climate. In a wet environment, side pockets are usually prone to take on moisture. With the use of eyelets on The Gulper… water is easily expelled from its side pockets. And that’s a win-win for me!
The interior of The Gulper features a florescent orange vinyl truck tarp liner which makes it soooo easy to find what you are looking for. I never could understand why so many companies use black interior liners?! Lastly, you will find an interior pocket perfectly sized for your large documents or laptop.
The Gulper is a sound backpack and I highly recommend one if you’re in the market for a new backpack.
Thanks Tony and Tom!”

Introducing the Tuck & Roll
After hundreds of entries, and some fierce debating, the winner of our Name This Bag competition….
…is The TUCK & ROLL, submitted by Rhys from Toronto! Not only is his name awesome & clever, it also conveys what makes our newest bag so great!
We received entries from all over the world, from New Mexico to the Netherlands, Ukraine to North Dakota – so a huge thank you for everyone’s participation and sheer creativity! So, we also have 5 runners-up, who will be receiving Cellies for their efforts:
The Scroll – Charity
The Jelly Rolltop – Ryan
The Gnarwal – James
The SnackPack – Cole
The Maki Roll – Andy
Also, Honorable Mentions for thoroughly entertaining us go to:
“The Groupie - Similar to a band groupie, this bag can be stashed and stowed and brought with you wherever you find yourself. It’s quick and easy, holds your beer, and doesn’t leave your side in a pinch. And unlike a groupie, this bag won’t give you the clap every time you put it on!”
AND….
“Eight Dollar Dog – It’s got a nice ring to it, and it rolls off the tongue really nicely. Also, Just consider the idea of an Eight Dollar Dog… It’s amazing. A whole dog, for ONLY EIGHT DOLLARS? WHAT A STEAL. THAT’S, LIKE THE BEST DEAL I’VE EVER HEARD OF. Obviously, you would not want to price it at eight dollars. Or maybe you would, but either way I like the way that the name relates to the easy going nature of the bag. it helps to imply that its the perfect bag for a quick run, nothing too serious. above all, it’s fun and catchy. Also, I bet you could actually fit an Eight Dollar Dog in that bag. And that would be the cutest thing ever.”
Yes. It would be the cutest thing ever.
Phillip Williams – WARWICK
Team rider Phillip Williams goes hard in this new edit! He always comes through with super consistent and stylish riding and Sam Clark always does a great job turning the footage into magic!
Check it out!
And YNOT Cycle encourages people to wear helmets!!
