Just knocked out a custom Gulper for our buddy Steve from Modifide Bike Polo, as he heads over the border for the Midwest Regional Qualifier this weekend. Steve’s Gulper features custom branding, white accents, and additional reinforced corners like you see on all of our Pro-Series bags, like The Cobra or The Mongoose.
If you’re in Colombus Ohio this weekend go to the tournie! And if you’re into Bike Polo you should definitely check out the premium mallet heads Modifide is pumping out. It’s great to see more Canadian companies popping up and creating quality products!
Last weekend we had an awesome time at MEC Bike Fest in Trinity Bellwoods park. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hey and check out our stuff. It was a great day, and great way to kick off summer here in Toronto.
Join us at Trinity Bellwoods park this Saturday May 18th, for MEC Bike Fest! We have a booth for the third year running, and it’s always been a ton of fun. The event runs 11 am – 5 pm, and the weather is looking rad! There’s usually valet bike parking, bike repairs, a ton of rad vendors, clinics, rides & more!
“MEC Bikefest is a daylong community celebration of all things bicycle related. Our goal is to bring together Toronto’s bicycle community and those new to bikes, to celebrate the wonders of cycling. Come join us and make it the best bicycle bash in Toronto.”
We’re all about bicycles and we’re all about bashes, not to mention who doesn’t love Bellwoods on a sunny Saturday! Lets be honest, the YNOT crew would probably be there with or without a Bike Fest. See ya there!
Summer is on it’s way. Rooftop BBQs, beach parties, park beers, group rides… you know the drill. Nothing screams this season more than your favourite pair of worn-in cut offs. So, what better a way to celebrate summer style, than by grabbing a set of denim YNOT Cut Offs pedal straps! Made with heavy duty reclaimed denim, these babies can withstand a beating, and are along for the ride.
Grab a pair on our Specialty Strap page! Dark Wash available while quantities last. New varying washes may be available soon with demand.
It’s always nice to be greeted first thing monday morning by some awesome feedback on our stuff. Tyler Bowa from Factory Five, an amazing cycling boutique in Shanghai, posted a really awesome review breaking down our Pro-Series backpack The Cobra feature by feature. He describes the Cobra as “bomb proof”, “a f’**king transformer” and “hand made with love you can just feel this is a high quality bag, and the construction is down right impeccable.”
As cyclists ourselves, we test our bags on the road, and always strive for intentional design with riding in mind. So it’s nice to know it’s being appreciated!
“This is without a doubt the best backpack I have ever owned or had the pleasure of using… …For years I’ve been back and forth between messenger bags and backpacks, never quite able to find the perfect riding backpack (even my Osprey just didn’t cut it). Up until now I relied solely on my Mission Workshop Shed messenger bag for everything I did. I can truthfully say that the Cobra is the most comfortable backpack I have ever ridden with. The size of the back pad is absolutely perfect for me, and what’s nice is that once the main pocket expands beyond the surface area of the back pad everything just hangs effortlessly without touching my body. The shoulder straps are really well positioned so that when you’re riding they don’t bunch in towards your neck like a lot of bags. Every single part of the bag has been considered for riding comfort and I can’t find enough good things to say about how it feels.”
Tyler’s shop Factory Five will be fully stocking YNOT products as of this month, so if you’re in the Shanghai area defintely check em out. Otherwise you can always grab your own Cobra here on our website, or enquire at your local YNOT-carrying bike shop!
(Also. YNOT always loves dogs in our bags. Always.)

This past weekend Red Bull Ride & Style went down at Justin Herman plaza in San Francisco. YNOT riders were out in full force, including Matt Montoya, Kenny Arimoto, Ed Wonka, Matt Reyes & Dew Sippawit! Congrats to everyone who participated, and especially to Matt Reyes for being at the top of the podium & taking home some pretty hefty bragging rights! Check out some of the highlights from the day in the video below by SF videographer Ronnie Garcia. Looks like a really rad day!
We are really excited to announce that YNOT has teamed up with our sister company Gallant Bicycles to showcase the entire YNOT product line at Toronto’s newest bike shop (678 Bloor West)! Now you can see all of our bags, accessories & pedal straps in every colour and in person, while learning about our gear from members of the YNOT crew firsthand. You can also choose from multiple additional colours to customize many of our bags and accessories, which are then built to order at our studio in the Junction. We are also really excited to get more direct feedback from the people who ride with our gear.
The shop also features other design oriented bike brands including Gallants’ custom bicycles designed, painted & assembled here in Toronto, Bookman & Lezyne lights, Full Windsor fenders, Orontas biodegradable bike care products, Levi’s commuter series, beautiful Brooks saddles, & BERN helmets among others.
